Before we all go woooow at the abandoned plane, we need to take a moment to appreciate @naaat__’s wholesome reaction to finding this little Icelandic house, which had been doing the rounds on her Tumblr feed back in 2010. I wonder if the homeowners know how Tumblr famous it is 🤔
The plane shots were stressful for us both for different reasons: Nat had to literally climbed up a rusty old plane, I had to frantically run around and nail as many shots as poss before the next wave of tourists arrived.

An ode to our trusty Suzuki that got us around safely on the paved and not so paved roads of Iceland 🤙 last pic: on the tail end of our trip it was cold enough to have out on the dashboard our ecliptic assortment of food we had slowly accumulated. Our car definitely reflected the haggard state we were in, compared to everyone else there who looked fresh as a daisy doing an easy day trip from the nearby capital city 😂

Centre: parked up at a rest stop to stretch our legs and muddy our shoes (😂). Right: climbed up rocks (which made our knees wobble a little) and took photos which we won’t show our mums in case they don’t let us hang out again 🤫

It may not look like much compared to majestic waterfalls, but I stumbled across this when I asked Nat to park up on a side of what looked like an unassuming river next to an open road. This neat lil spot isn’t on Google Maps or an IG location and I hope it stays that way 🤓

One of the things I like about this collage format

One of the things I like about this collage format is being able to really pull through and highlight the different terrain Iceland had to offer. You could be driving through what I imagine Mars looks like, and then a couple hours later be driving through snow. It’s such a rugged and largely untouched place, I hope it never changes 🇮🇸

I’m at that stage of life where I want to spend

I’m at that stage of life where I want to spend more money on better quality pieces of clothing that lasts a long time. I’ve never really been “into” fashion, but I’ve been learning about colour theory, fabrics to avoid and what shapes actually suit my body. I’ve been making notes on a word doc like the organised nerd that I am 🤓 However there’s only so much theory I can learn while stuck at home - anyone else learning any interesting skills or topics?
